Continued Progress at Caleb Close, Luton as KPH hand over a further 9 new homes
Key Partnership Homes has, this week, officially handed over a further 9 new homes at our Caleb Close site in Luton and representatives of our Client at Paradigm Housing Group were on hand to receive the keys to 3 new one-bed apartments and 6 new two-bed apartments in a single building. The building forms a continuation of the completed properties along the Wingate Road frontage following the handover of 16 houses back in April, which stand adjacent. Significantly, this latest handover and completion of the building will also result in the opening, in-part, of the new street leading into the site at its Wingate Road end.
The town of Luton is renowned for its links to the Hat Industry and the development will pay homage to those links, with the street being named Bongrace Walk and the apartment building being named Gatsby Court. This theme will continue throughout the whole site, with future apartment buildings having similarly-linked names.
The recent handover takes the total number of completed units within the development to 25. The remaining 199 new homes are at various stages of production and the whole site is a hive of activity with various sub-contractors undertaking work. The completion of the remaining units will be carried out in phases between now and the summer of 2020, with the next handovers due in July.June 28, 2019 12:07 pm
