KPH completes its 200th affordable home in Luton
Last week KPH achieved an important milestone by completing its 200th affordable home in Luton as part of our ongoing development at Caleb Close. The new home is located in ‘Boater Court’, a block of 9 new one and two-bedroom apartments, and this was handed over to the Client Paradigm Housing Group, who were delighted with the finish of the new homes.
To commemorate the event KPH invited several senior Luton Council Members including the Lord Mayor Tahir Malik, the Leader of the Council Hazel Simmons and the Deputy Leader Sian Timoney together with senior officers from the Housing and Planning teams, who were delighted with the way the development is progressing on site. Also in attendance were a number of key officers from Paradigm Housing Group including Chief Executive Matthew Bailes, as well as a number of Business Directors from our supply chain.
The celebration also provided an opportunity for Key Partnership Homes to give back to the community and we were delighted to welcome along Project Manager Salma Khan from the Luton Foodbank, where KPH’s Operations Director David Taylor presented her with a cheque donation towards the important work that they carry out in the town.
Of the event, Managing Director Ian Stimpson said “Luton is hugely important to the growth strategy of our business and we look forward to working with the Local Authority on further schemes currently under negotiation.” Speaking about the donation, Ian added “there should be no need in today’s developed society for foodbanks, however they play a key role for many families and we are only too happy to support the good work being carried out by the Luton Foodbank”
KPH is very proud of acheiving the 200 new home milestone and by the time we complete the development at Caleb Close, approximately 170 more affordable homes will be added to that delivery.
